Dear Cleveland Hill Community;
Beginning next Monday, March 6, 2023 the Cleveland Hill School District will begin
utilizing the Raptor visitor management system. The implementation of this program will
require all visitors to present a government issued identification for scanning prior to
entering any building. Individuals without proper identification will be denied access.
Acceptable forms of ID include;
· Driver’s License from any state
· Non-Driver ID card
· Passport Card (Passport books are not acceptable)
· Pistol Permit
The Raptor system is linked to the National Sex Offender Registry, and notifies us if
someone entering the building is on that list. Please note that we do not receive any
other information from this system including past criminal charges/record or even status
of the driver’s license.
Understanding that a change like this may take some transition time, we will use the
month of March to familiarize our community and guests with the new system and
procedures. We will begin scanning identifications next Monday, but no individual will
be denied access for failure to present proper identification until Monday, April 3, 2023.
