High School

Welcome!

The Cleveland Hill School District offers a vast array of support services for students and families. In addition to the academic counseling provided to students, the counselor works with students personal concerns, provides consultation to parents and professional staff, assist in conflict resolution and crisis intervention, and make referrals to carious agencies and other professionals for more intensive services. High school counselors also assist students in post - high school career plans.  

High School Counselors

A school counselor is a licensed educator who helps students develop academically, socially, and emotionally, and prepares them for college, career, and community life. School counselors work with students and other stakeholders to create a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses the needs of all students.

School Psychologists

School psychologists provide a variety of services, including individual student assessments of learning needs, student centered consultation for staff and parents, assisting students with various daily conflict resolution and crisis intervention services for students and families. The School psychologist also address the specific needs related to special education students and the Committee on Special Education.

School Social Worker

A school social worker is a licensed mental health professional who works with students to address their social-emotional needs through counseling, social emotional learning (SEL) instruction, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution. In addition, the social worker can assist with community linkages for families, and referrals to other resources as needed.
