Summer College is a program that allows high school students entering their junior or senior year in fall to register for online credit bearing classes at SUNY Erie Community College during the months of July and August. This is a great opportunity to explore a future career and get a jump-start on college at a discounted rate.

The benefits of Summer College:

  • Get started on your college education before you graduate.

  • Take college courses online for one third the cost of tuition plus fees.

  • All courses are SUNY General Education approved courses.

  • Courses are transferable to all SUNY colleges and most private colleges/universities with a C or better.

  • Learn how to use Blackboard.

Bryant and Stratton Jumpstart Courses

High School Juniors and Seniors can get an early start on college by taking courses for college credit while still in high school through Bryant and Stratton's Jumpstart program. This is a great opportunity for college bound students to get a better handle on college-level work and giving them a chance to explore career interests in more depth.

  • TUITION FREE: This is a tuition free opportunity to earn college credit in a real college environment and in college classrooms!

  • One enrolled, students only pay for textbooks.

  • Interested students must pre-register.

To register for classes:

  • Complete the registration form with an HS Admissions Representative

  • Receive book information (can be purchased through the college at    cost or we will provide the ISBN number so you can find a used copy

Expectations:

  • The expectation is that students will attend every class unless an extenuating circumstance arises (if that is the case, student needs to contact their instructor directly)
