Dating Abuse Website
Teen Dating Abuse Awareness and Prevention
New York State’s Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence has a new website and Facebook page called “Respect Love, Love Respect.” The site is geared toward raising awareness on dating abuse and provides young adults with tips and advice on how they can empower themselves to overcome the obstacles related to unhealthy relationships and decisions.
The information on the website is divided into various topics: dating abuse regarding teens, college students and same-sex relationships; dating abuse and technology; stalking and sexual assault. It also defines the issue and lists several red flags to look for while in a dating relationship.
