The outpatient mental health clinic provides counseling and psychiatric services in a confidential and supportive environment. Community Resources
The service was designed to fill the community’s need for an innovative unit that would explore new methods of treating and assisting people in emotional crisis through a variety of therapeutic services. It was to also provide training and educational programs in crisis intervention and have a comprehensive research component supporting the whole service.
The mission of the C.A.R.E.S. team is to assist families in resolving crisis situations in the community as quickly and effectively as possible. The C.A.R.E.S. Team looks to empower parents to more effectively manage crisis situations, link families with appropriate services and supports in the community, and avoid any unnecessary out of home placements for youth. The C.A.R.E.S. Team is on call 24 hours a day/seven days a week.
Compass House provides safe shelter and services to runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth. Through our voluntary programs at the Emergency Shelter and Resource Center, we provide runaway, homeless and street youth with services in an environment that supports dignity, respect and self-reliance.
